Polarity, Circuit Breaker, EMF Testing
Polarity Testing of Power Outlets:
- Ensures live wire are turned off at the switch.
- Incorrect wiring or build-up of debris on rear of switch is an electrical fault.
Requirements:
- Power connected to property is required for this test.
- Where an issue is found, the outlet is taped with hi-visibility tape and an assessment by our qualified electrician is recommended prior to use.
Circuit Breaker Testing:
- Pushing a current through the system to the meter box to test that trip switches are working confirms power will be cut if an incident, fault or overload occurs.
- Power connected to property is required for this test.
- Where an issue is found an assessment by our qualified electrician is recommended prior to use.
Electromagnetic Field (EMF) Testing:
- Detects EMFs in rooms especially near meter boxes.
- EMFs are present wherever electrical current flows, higher levels can be found near smart meters, caused by faulty electrical earthing and from overhead power cables.
- EMFs can cause sickness, affect electrical devices including pacemakers, cause depression, sleepiness, migraines and nausea.
- Power connected to property is required for this test.
- Solutions could be as simple as re-positioning beds or furniture, shielding of electrical meters, or assessment of electrical faults by our qualified electrician.
